If you are between the minimum age to use PhotoCircle in your location and 18, some extra privacy protections are switched on for you automatically, including:

• Disabling targeted advertising
• Removing location metadata of any media you upload
• Excluding you from marketing emails and push notifications

You'll still see ads on the free plan, but they won't be personalized. You don't need to do anything to turn these protections on, and they can't be switched off.
